Yummy In My Tummy

Till now, we’ve really never had a need for bibs. In fact, I was starting to wonder why people bought bibs in the first place since a wash cloth was just as handy. Well, I finally figured out why…it’s used when your baby starts to eat other things, besides just taking the bottle or the breast. Who knew it could be so messy!

On tax day, we decided to give Tiger his first taste of rice cereal. The cereal of choice was the Happy Bellies line of organic brown rice cereal recommended by Dr. Sears. Tiger liked his cereal, but loved his blue spoon more. He seemed to tolerate eating the rice cereal pretty well, so we’re all really excited. As you can see from the picture, he’s still learning to keep the cereal actually in his mouth instead of on his bib.

Strive For Five But Plateau-ing

Another month flies by as Tiger gets his 5-month vaccines (which we almost got the wrong vaccines if Mama didn’t ask the MA). Tiger’s starting to plateau a bit and comes in this month at 15 lbs, 5 ounces (which isn’t bad considering he was sick all of last week). His length is now 25.5 inches and the circumference of his head is 42 cm.

It’s been a busy few weeks so we haven’t had a chance to take many pictures and update the blog, but hopefully things will calm down a bit and we should have more pictures soon.

And the Jell-O’s Jigglin’…

The late-great Chick Hearn used to always close a Lakers’ win by saying, “The game’s in the refrigerator, the door is closed, the lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter’s getting hard….and the Jell-O’s jigglin’!” Well, it looks like the Jell-O’s jigglin’ on our time here in Los Angeles for now (just as Ry was getting used to watching his favorite team in the world…so he’s told)!

We’ll be temporarily (for at least 2 years) relocating to New Jersey for my work and will finally get a chance to experience the four different seasons. Being away from our friends and family is definitely going to be hard, definitely bitter-sweet, but we’ll hopefully try to fly back as much as we can. Hopefully people will also want to come visit us since we’re so close to New York as well. Once we find out where we’ll be living, we’ll be sure to update everyone!

I don’t get it…we like the Los Angeles Lakers, and don’t like Jordan Farmar, but we’re moving to New Jersey where Jordan Farmer lives?

Every Night is “Must See TV”

My mama and dada always tell me that I can’t watch too much tv, but then they always turn on Cold Case, Jersey Shore, and the Lakers when they should be playing with me! It’s no wonder I’m addicted already!

P.S.
They think they’re placing me down to do tummy time, but I’m really tricking them…it’s the only way I get to watch my shows.
