Bark in the Park

My dada dragged me to the park in 100 degree weather because he said I could see some dogs, but the real reason was because my dada wanted to listen to “The Great One” talk (no, it’s not The Rock). Although it was hot, I did get to see about 500 dogs during the Bark in the Park event held in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This event helps dogs get adopted, so I was definitely okay with going along with my dada’s idea. My mama also got to eat some food truck food, so I know she was happy too!

Don’t tell my dada, but I think he’s a nerd sometimes…but I still love him and my mama.

Return of the Back

Can you believe we’ve been living in New Jersey for a full year already? To celebrate this year’s Independence day, we decided to take another visit to Turtleback Zoo. Being that it was nearly 100 degrees outside, we didn’t stay as long as we could’ve of, but then again, we pretty much saw all the animals within an hour anyways.

As a comparison, here’s a picture of Tiger during this year’s July 4th versus the picture we took last year at the Summit July 4th celebration.

What a difference a year makes! Yes, we know he looks a bit like a girl with the long hair (you’d be surprised at how much people said that). To look at more pictures from last year’s outing, click here.

On this special occasion, Tiger got to take part in his first train ride (note to mama and dada: next time, don’t sit too close to the front of the train, as the train horn is extremely loud).

Of course, we couldn’t leave without riding the carousel, which for some reason, Tiger wouldn’t ride on any of the animals.

Unfortunately, no watching fireworks this year for us. It was simply too late (started at 9pm) and the heat was just too unbearable. Maybe by this time next year, the weather will be much better where we’re at.

Paint Away

How can I not love my Mama? Who else would let me do what I love and paint on canvas? The only thing I don’t like is the girly apron that she makes me wear when I paint…I’d rather be naked!
