With Tiger spending almost every waking moment of the day quoting, “How to Train Your Dragon” (both Part I and II), we thought it’d be nice for his first Build-a-Bear to be Toothless! Obviously, the kid was ecstatic, and now, the Night Fury never leaves his side.

Happy New Year 2015
Happy New Year to everyone! To kick-off the new year, here are some photos from our recent California trip. As you know, for the first time ever, we took a week and a half long trip to our favorite places in California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego). In the week and a half that we had in Cali, we managed to go to the 49ers vs. Chargers game, Cal Academy of Science, Disneyland, Legoland, eat tons of great food, and of course, spend quality time with both our family and friends.
Seeing that our trip yielded hundreds of pictures (closer to a thousand), for this site, I’ll just post our SF trip, and for the rest of the trip, you’ll have to go to our Baby Horse’s site.
Here’s our baby Horse going on his first plane ride. It was a bit tough (4 poops in a 6-hour span, but we managed)
Nothing like a quick visit to Pier 39 to take in the sites. Of course, we also had time to get some much needed ramen before heading to the pier
Who knew the Cal Academy of Science had so many cool things?
Game day and everyone is ready to go! We took a quick visit to Santana Row to kill some time, then off to the big game.
As the brick says, hopefully we’re starting a new tradition. Next time though, we’ll need to bring a sharpie to add baby Horse’s name as well…
My Mommy and Daddy Used to Be One of Them
For my first ever Black Friday event (actually taking place on Thursday @5pm), my mommy and daddy took me and my brother out to Best Buy and Target. After looking at the line outside of Best Buy, I’m starting to think that most people are nuts (especially since it snowed earlier today). When we left Best Buy and headed to Target, we conveniently waited inside a nearby store (Dick’s Sporting Goods), then waltzed right into Target getting everything on our list. No line, no waiting, no freezing, no smelly people…just common sense. Which leads me back to why I think most people are nuts…I mean, who would wait hours upon hours in line to not even get what they came into the store for? Here’s looking at you mom and dad.

Babymoon – Returning to Session
On our second trip to Congress Hall in Cape May, NJ, we took full advantage of the two days that we spent there. After checking into Congress Hall late Friday night, we ran around on the beach on Saturday, visited the Cape May Zoo (which was FREE), then capped off the weekend with our first ever visit to the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
In a beach town full of vintage Victorian homes, the Congress Hall sets itself apart just by the structure itself.
We didn’t waste too much time in getting to the beach bright and early on Saturday
No matter where we go, we need to eat!
Our little Tiger has now seen the sunrise and sunset in Cape May
Although the final days of any vacation trip is usually met with fatigue, we decided to do the complete opposite and maximum every last minute with a Zoo/Boardwalk combo
We won’t be back here for awhile, but when we do, both little Tiger and little Horse will be sure to love it!
Spoiled Rotten
In the past three years, it’s hard to find a time when Tiger has gotten more attention in NJ, then what he just received last week from his aunts and uncle. From eating great meals at Denville Seafood, to Luke’s, to Peter Luger’s, then to the Princeton Communiversity, not only did Tiger receive constant attention, he also had his share of fine foods.
We love having guests around the house as Tiger’s face lights up even more than it usually does. After a week of fun trips to both NYC, PA, and in NJ, our living room becomes quiet (without the sound of Game of Thrones) and mama and dada both agree that we definitely saw Tiger grow-up a bit more this past week. Whether it was the presence of wonderful company, or just Tiger maturing, we both know that almost three and a half years have gone by way too quickly.
Random Catch-ups
Seeing that it’s getting harder and harder to consistently post new pictures (mainly due to work, football, and Final Fantasy), here are a couple of random pictures spanning July and August. Enjoy.
We finally went shopping to get Tiger a new bed, and surprisingly, he loved it! Although it took an entire weekend to find the right bed and to setup his room, it was totally worth it.
Tiger at his first visit to Pump it Up!. It was a charity event for Autism Speaks, so it was a win-win situation for everyone.
One of Tiger’s multiple trips to Turtleback Zoo. They have a new sea lion and sting ray exhibit which Tiger loved.
Hmmm, it really makes you wonder how strong that piece of glass is that’s standing between the black bear and Tiger.
This red panda definitely has the right idea…#restisgood
Nothing like eating a red bean and ice cream sandwich after a long afternoon at the Zoo.
Our first National Night Out event near Morristown. I’m still not exactly sure why the event is actually held, but there were free hot dogs (I ate 3) and drinks, so I’m not complaining.
Tiger’s definitely starting to like swords now…I wonder if it has anything to do with him watching me play Final Fantasy?
Just Tiger hanging out on the weekend at the local shopping center and toy store. I’m shocked that toy store hasn’t refused to let us in the door, considering how much time we spend in there without actually buying anything.
