Spring Fling

Springtime in Jersey brings bugs, bugs, and more bugs. But on rare occasions, like yearly, it brings the Spring Fling held in Westfield (about 35 minutes south of us). I’m not sure we intended to stay as long as we did, but Tiger had so much fun that it was hard to leave.

Hi, I’m Tiger! If you can’t read my shirt, it says, “I’m not small, I’m fun size!”

I’m feeling much better than I did last week and I’m ready to run around like a crazy little boy!

I’m blowing a kiss to Lorax, but I don’t see him anywhere

I don’t need to wear a hat mama, it’s not that hot…

Okay…maybe it is that hot!

Like mother, like son

I’m giving my pouty face because we have to go home now

Just Grove-in’ Along

Today was a perfect day for a family trip to a place we’ve never been before…the LA Farmer’s Market and the Grove. Hearing how the Farmer’s Market food court was filled with a variety of foods, we couldn’t help but to take a stop there to get some fried catfish w/ collard greens, french macaroons, custard-filled chocolate donuts, and a chocolate cupcake. After filling up on sweets, we took to some shopping (saw a crazy, kid-filled store called American Girl that sells $100 dolls), then relaxed at the grassy area of the Grove.

Ryland got his first feel of grass today, although I did have to kill a pincher bug before it ate his foot. The weather was perfect (especially with Ryland getting used to being out in the sun more) and the timing couldn’t be better to take a spontaneous, relaxing trip.

Happy New Year

My first ever Chinese New Year eve and New Year’s day celebration was great! For the first time, I met my Auntie Joy who introduced my daddy to my mommy. I love hearing stories how mommy made daddy get her a Starbucks Frappaccino before she would talk to him…HAHA! I’m sure my mommy has a different take on the story, but she was busy getting Chuao that day.

Bare Necessities

What happens when you have parents that like to bring you shopping?  You end up buying things that you may or may not need.  In our defense, it was a sunny day…and soon, it’ll be summer.  Besides, we needed something to go with the hat that we bought him too.

Not as Hard as it Seems, With a Little Help

We just finished registering (the bulk of our items), at Babies r’ Us this weekend. Thanks to the help of Val, Tom, and Evan, we were able to get most of everything registered. From the stroller, to the wiper warmers, we managed to complete everything in about 3 hours or so. I’m sure it would’ve taken far longer without their help…so thank you to them! We’ll still need to register at Target for some additional items (cause not everyone lives near a Babies r’ Us), so that’ll be next on our ‘to-do’ list. Maybe I’ll register for my favorite items at Target (409, Lysol, and Dryel) so I can get some cools things too. Ah, too bad the NFL season starts in a week and a half…I should’ve done the registry sooner and added a Fantasy Football magazine to the registry so I don’t have to buy one this weekend. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Need a link to our registry?, here it is (Registry #45887822)
