One of the coolest parts of the trip actually happened on the way home. With Tiger being a flying veteran, he usually likes to see the captain. This time around, not only did the captain introduce himself to Tiger, but Tiger got to sit in the captain’s chair. To make things even cooler, as we were taking off, Captain Ryan gave a shoutout to Tiger over the main airplane intercom…nice touch, and a nice way to (sky)cap our vacation.

California Adventures – Part II
Although based off of the pictures I’ve posted it would seem that all we did was eat, rest assure that Tiger had loads of fun. From going to Jump & Jammin’ with his auntie and cousins, to going to the park multiple times in a day, Tiger was busy around the clock (so busy that mommy and daddy got to sneak away to watch Hunger Games!).
More pictures to come…
California Adventures – Part I
This posting is Part I of our wonderful week in California (Feb 8th-16th). From cousin Caleb’s birthday party, to the Long Beach Aquarium, Downtown Disney, Disneyland/California Adventures, Discovery Zone, a random park in Irvine, and to many other things in-between, it’s no wonder I needed to split this into two parts.
“For the first time in forever” (stolen verse from Frozen), Tiger got to hang out with all of his cousins from San Diego and Las Vegas. 5 boys under 5 years old going to Disneyland…that’s an adventure in itself.
Grandma and Grandpa got some long-awaited time with Tiger as well
From the pictures, Tiger’s face says everything you need to know about this trip. Smiles all around.
There Snow Way We’re Going to School or Work Today
Counting the days until we get to enjoy some warm weather…tick, tock, tick, tock.
Baby Horse is Going to Have Some Kick
What better way to ring in the New Year than to eat something that will make your stomach curl and your mouth salivate with anticipation?
With the weather in NJ being as cold as it is for the past month (dropping to -18 degrees at times), we’re hoping the New Year will bring the heat!
Hap and Cap
We spent this weekend mostly at home (mainly because of the weather), taking care of housework and watching Turbo. When we weren’t at home, we went to our new favorite brunch place called Hapgoods, then headed back home to watch a hard fought Niner’s game. One more week and the Niner faithful maybe coming to NJ!
